chris

Chris - Saxophone, backing vocals. The saxiest player in colloosion, Chris started his musical career playing percussion with a folk-rock band, but it's the sax which has always thrilled him ... goose bumps and all that. His uncle, Lol Coxhill , is an internationally-acclaimed sax player and Chris reckons he would give his right arm to play like him! After thoroughly enjoying many years with his previous rocky-bluesy-soul band, Chris kicked-off colloosion with Mike. What a great band it's turned out to be................life rocks!

mike

Mike - Keyboards, harmonica. A classical music lover all his life Mike came to performance quite late, in his thirties (he says). Surprising since his grandfather was a silent cinema pianist and his grandmother was Nancy Langtyre, a singer of some repute of the late Victorian stage. A gentle introduction with a folk group inspired him to first tread the professional boards in the world of rock, pop, blues and soul and he never looked back - in case they caught up with him. When he isn't playing two keyboards and harmonicas this classical head banger claims to be the band's moral guardian but, like his age, he has yet to offer any provenance for this.

martin

Martin - Drums, backing vocals.
Martin has been gigging for over 32 years (honest), with various function bands throughout UK and Europe. He's made numerous TV and Radio appearances (including when the council decided to shut Dudley Town Hall for the Millenium gig). A versatile so-and-so he's worked with Big Bands, Jazz Bands, Rock Bands, Theatre bands and plenty of cabaret. The Platters, Noddy Holder, Roy Wood, Don Lusher (Trombonist) are some of the big names Martin has worked with. He was the resident drum tutor at the Elgar School of Music, but the bit that impresses the rest of colloosion most is that he washed Robert Plant's' car for him once. He's played for royalty and the Lord Mayor of London at the Guildhall. Did we mention that he once washed Robert Plant's car?

dave

Dave - Guitar, Backing vocals. Dave is the quiet assassin. He doesn't say much - he lets his guitar do the talking, and boy does it talk when he lets it go!

Lee

Lee - lead vocals, guitar.
Lee has been singing in bands for six years and with colloosion for the last two. He previously fronted rock covers band 'Group Therapy' and is equally happy singing a Van Morrison classic as he is belting out a Kings Of Leon number. Watch out though – He is always looking for someone to join him on stage to provide extra backing vocals.

Brad

Brad - Bass, backing vocals.
Formerly our Sound Engineer and dep bassist - Brad descibes himself as a very 'grumpy old man' - but he's not really - he's a great bass player with an impressive track record. Hailing from the other side of Hadrian's wall - 'McBrad' ensures he always has a good supply of h
aggis sandwiches and Irn Bru at rehearsal. At gigs you'll sometimes find him playing his bass on the dancefloor - ahhh the freedom of a wirless bass! As you can see from the picture, Brad likes to get absorbed in his music...

Just don't mention the Queen (the monarch - not the band) or the Bay City Rollers.
